Before you buy, identify the motor brand on your awning. That is what sets compatibility, not the size or the year. Zone Patio uses two systems. NICE motors power the Brasilia Slim line. What each accessory does
The remote rolls the fabric out or in from your deck, no crank needed. The single-channel model runs one awning; the multi-channel runs several from one remote. The wind sensor measures gusts and retracts the awning once they get strong enough to damage the arms or fabric, which protects the unit while you are away. The smart-home bridge links the motorized awning to your Wi-Fi: you open and close it from a phone or tablet app, and by voice through Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. The NeoBridge serves the Brasilia Slim line; the BondBridge pairs with Dooya motors and can also control other smart devices in the home.
For protection, the soft cover wraps the retracted awning through the cold season, while the aluminum hood cover (the cassette) shields the rolled fabric year-round. It matters most when the awning is not tucked under a soffit.
